Health & Safety Policy

Buckton Surveyors and Planners Ltd is committed to providing a healthy and safe working environment for our workers, customers, visitors, and others that may be affected by our activities. We are also committed to ensuring full compliance with all current versions of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (HSWA), the Health and Safety at Work Regulations, Codes of Practices, and any other relevant Standards, Guidelines, or Legislation.    

To meet these commitments, appropriate resources and practices will be adopted to ensure that our Health and Safety Management Plan is established, maintained, and regularly reviewed for continuous compliance. 

In particular, we will:

  1. Ensure effective Health and Safety governance processes are in place to maintain oversight of Health and Safety.

  2. Implement our Health and Safety management system.

  3. Manage hazards and associated risks in our workplace to prevent harm to others.

  4. Provide information, training and supervision to employees and other workers so that they are competent to perform their jobs safely. 

  5. Integrate Health and Safety into our day-to-day practices.

  6. Ensure incidents are accurately reported and investigated to prevent reoccurrence.

  7. Engage with our employees and other workers in Health and Safety matters.

  8. Seek assurance that our contractor’s systems and activities are ensuring the safety of our people, their own employees, sub-contractors and members of the public.

  9. Ensure Health and Safety legislative requirements are complied with including consulting, co-operating and co-ordinating activities with all other PCBUs who have duties in relation to the same matters.

  10. Review this policy document and all other Health and Safety documentation, policies, and procedures every two years. The review will be conducted by the Directors of Buckton Surveyors and Planners.
