Buckton Sponsorships Encouraging Young Sailors at the Sandspit Yacht Club

For many years now Buckton's have proudly sponsored the "Grey Boat" in the centreboard division of the Sandspit Yacht Culb.

Sandspit Yacht Club sponsorship is an opportunity for Buckton to strength community ties and it is a crucial financial support for the club. The funding provided helps with the maintenance of the yacht club's learn to sail sailing fleet out of Algies Bay, beach trailers and marine safety equipment that is used in the learn to sail programme.

Participation teaches children the benefits of goal-setting and practice. It breaks down barriers, helps make new friends, kids have fun, learn to be a team member and learn about fair play.

The kids are learning to sail; instilling the passion of sailing from the grassroots and Buckton's are so happy to be a part of these terrific opportunities provided to the young people of our region.
