Farm Maps

Buckton Surveyors and Planners used a combination of UAV and CAD mapping tools to generate up to date farm maps. We start with a flight of the entire farm and discuss on-site what you need to show on the plan. Back in the office we can zoom in on the image and measure all fences, troughs, gates, even water pipes!

 

Farm maps can be used to ensure efficient land use and pasture management. Many features identified in the photo can be converted into CAD form, allowing accurate measurement and assessment.

 

We can provide colour laminated plans and simple A5 black and white versions. We also offer a full GIS package where you are provided with a link to a 3D model of your farm. You can zoom in to different scales, measure grades, and input your info as time passes.
